PinSeekers Golf Camp - Winter 2024

Tiffin Recreation is partnering with PinSeekers for a Holiday Break golf camp at PinSeekers in Tiffin .  The camp is for all abilities ages 8 to 14.  Each day there will be instruction; led by PinSeekers staff,  then golfers will head to their bays to practice and play games.  We also need volunteers to help monitor the bays during the camp, sign up as a volunteer “coach” when registering, thanks!

The camp will be from 10am to 11:30am; M,Tu, Th, F December 30,31, Jan 2,3.  The cost is $95. If your kid can make only two of the days, there is a $60 half camp option. There are separate registrations for boys and girls and they will be grouped that way as best as possible when in bays.  Please let us know if you want your kid to be paired with another kid.  You can bring your own clubs or borrow theirs at no cost.  

Parents that want to hit balls will have to rent their own bays.  Thanks and we hope to see you there!

Zumba Jan/Feb - Winter I 2025

Step into Happy!  Zumba blends Latin music and dance for a total body workout that is designed for all ages and abilities.   Zumba is FUN for Everyone!

Classes will be Monday Nights only this session from 6 to 7pm at The Tiffin Middle School exercise room. .

Family Open Gym 2024-25 - Winter 2024

Tiffin Recreation will be hosting Family Open gym Sunday's at Oak Hill Elementary form 4pm to 6pm this winter.  

Just grab a ball from home and bring the kids down and play, get a kid and/or parent pick-up game going. etc.

Rob Sankey will be there to Supervise and can be hired for private or group basketball lessons, if interested contact him directly at: robertsankey1989@icloud.com.

No kids under 12 unsupervised please. 

Supreme Basketball League - Winter 2025

GAMES  PRACTICES  3.4 RULES     5.6 RULES  1.2 RULES

Boys and Girls Divisions offered.  Join us and your friends in a recreational level basketball league this winter!  Emphasis will be put on fun, skill development and equal playing time.  We need coaches! Head coaches will receive tuition reimbursement once season has started.  Coaches will pick up their equipment and have a short meeting on Sunday Dec 8th at 4:15pm at Oak Hill El gym.  

• Players will be randomly put on teams that will practice in Tiffin at either Tiffin El or Oak Hill School. 
• Games will are played n Tiffin, CV and NL.  
• Practices starting week of Dec 9th.  Grades 5.6 is part of JR NBA Program with W/NBA Jerseys.
• Grades 3/4,5/6 will practice one or two weeknights depending on coach schedule.
• Grades 1.2 will practice right before their games on Saturdays starting Jan 4 and have an optional skill session on Sundays, starting Sunday Dec 8th (Not Dec 29) boys from 2-2:50 and girls from 3 to 3:50pm at Oak Hill El, ends when games end.
• One hour games will take place on Saturdays, 9am and 3pm, in Jan and Feb.

No one will be turned away because of cost, email fhaege@tiffin-iowa.org to request a confidential discount scholarship.

Pee-Wee Basketball - Winter 2025

Join Tiffin Rec for some basketball basics and fun! This will be headed by City of Tiffin Staff but we do need volunteer assistant coaches . Sundays at Oak Hill Elementary.

This program is for boys and girls (co-ed) currently in KG or entering KG next fall, no one younger please.

This is run like a camp, skills and drills, no teams or games.  This is NOT part of the Supreme League.  There are no shirts or photo's at this level.

Kids will be randomly placed in one of two sections either Noon to 12:50 or 1:00 to 1:50 - subject to change to accommodate coaches.  This will be Sundays Jan 5 thru Feb 9.

If there is a change and it does not work for  your schedule you will receive a refund.

Library Lab - Coding Club - Annual 2024

The Springmier Community Library is now offering a Library Lab - Coding Club.

This is for students 6th-8th grade. We will learn the basics of coding, play coding games, and create projects using coding basics.

A small snack will be provided.

Program dates are: 11/20 | 12/4 | 12/18 | 1/8

Adult Pick Up Basketball - Winter 2024

Join us at the CCA Middle School Auxiliary Gym from 6pm to 8pm each Wednesday.

If there is no school (Holiday Break, etc.) there is no basketball.  Park in main lot, use front door. 

Must be 18 and out of high school.  This is free, but please sign up so we have a waiver for you and contact info. Thanks!

30 Plus Basketball - Winter 2024

Come on Down for a 30 plus basketball open gym!

Bring clean sneakers, a white shirt and a black shirt.
