T-Ball - Spring 2025

PK/K:  Learn the basics of baseball by starting out in T-Ball

Program is Co-ed, kids MUST be going into Kindergarten fall of 2025 or 2026.  Please use your best discretion on if your kid is ready for this.  T-Ball can be very dangerous with bats and balls involved. 

Practices and games will be on he new Tiffin Ball Fields at the Auxiliary fields, Sundays afternoons. An adult must accompany each child at each session. Half the days will be practices and half games.  All your kid needs is a glove, all other equipment will be provided.  We recommend a used leather small baseball glove. The new ones are just too stiff.   Enrollment of individual levels may close early due to lack of coaches, number of kids, fields, etc.

WE NEED COACHES.  Head coaches get payment FULL payment reimbursement.  To become a coach sign up as a volunteer when registering.

Youth Baseball/Softball - Spring 2025

Tiffin Rec teams will be playing in the NLCBS league again this year.  All practices are in Tiffin, most games in Tiffin, some at Penn Meadows Park in North Liberty.  Steps 1 and 2 are T-Ball.  Enrollment of individual levels may close early due to lack of coaches, number of kids, fields, etc.

Grades are grades for FALL of 2025.

Step 3 (Grades 1)- Sunday Noon practice, Wednesday night games. Coach Pitch.

Step 4 (Grades 2-3) - Friday night practices, Wednesday night games. Transition Pitch.

Step 5 (Junior)  (Grades 4-5) - Monday and Thursday nights; possible Friday nights. No Walks.

Step 6 (Senior) (Grades 6-7-8) - Monday and Thursday nights; possible Friday nights. Regular Rules.

Zumba Jan/Feb - Winter I 2025

Step into Happy!  Zumba blends Latin music and dance for a total body workout that is designed for all ages and abilities.   Zumba is FUN for Everyone!

Classes will be Monday Nights only this session from 6 to 7pm at The Tiffin Middle School exercise room. .

Family Open Gym 2024-25 - Winter 2024

Tiffin Recreation will be hosting Family Open gym Sunday's at Oak Hill Elementary form 3pm to 6pm this winter.  

Just grab a ball from home and bring the kids down and play, get a kid and/or parent pick-up game going. etc.

Rob Sankey will be there to Supervise and can be hired for private or group basketball lessons, if interested contact him directly at: robertsankey1989@icloud.com.

Supreme Basketball League - Winter 2025

GAMES  PRACTICES  3.4 RULES     5.6 RULES  1.2 RULES

Boys and Girls Divisions offered.  Join us and your friends in a recreational level basketball league this winter!  Emphasis will be put on fun, skill development and equal playing time.  We need coaches! Head coaches will receive tuition reimbursement once season has started.  Coaches will pick up their equipment and have a short meeting on Sunday Dec 8th at 4:15pm at Oak Hill El gym.  

• Players will be randomly put on teams that will practice in Tiffin at either Tiffin El or Oak Hill School. 
• Games will are played n Tiffin, CV and NL.  
• Practices starting week of Dec 9th.  Grades 5.6 is part of JR NBA Program with W/NBA Jerseys.
• Grades 3/4,5/6 will practice one or two weeknights depending on coach schedule.
• Grades 1.2 will practice right before their games on Saturdays starting Jan 4 and have an optional skill session on Sundays, starting Sunday Dec 8th (Not Dec 29) from 2 to 3pm at Oak Hill El, ends when games end.
• One hour games will take place on Saturdays, 9am and 3pm, in Jan and Feb.

Pee-Wee Basketball - Winter 2025

Join Tiffin Rec for some basketball basics and fun! This will be headed by City of Tiffin Staff but we do need volunteer assistant coaches . Sundays at Oak Hill Elementary.

This program is for boys and girls (co-ed) currently in KG or entering KG next fall, no one younger please.

This is run like a camp, skills and drills, no teams or games.  This is NOT part of the Supreme League.  There are no shirts or photo's at this level.

Kids will be randomly placed in one of two sections BOYS Noon to 1:50, GIRLS 2:00 to 2:50. - subject to change to accommodate coaches, etc.  This will be Sundays Jan 5 thru Feb 9.

If there is a change and it does not work for  your schedule you will receive a refund.

Adult Pick Up Basketball - Winter 2024

Join us at the CCA Middle School Auxiliary Gym from 6pm to 8pm each Wednesday.

If there is no school (Holiday Break, etc.) there is no basketball.  Park in main lot, use front door. 

Must be 18 and out of high school.  This is free, but please sign up so we have a waiver for you and contact info. Thanks!

30 Plus Basketball - Winter 2024

Come on Down for a 30 plus basketball open gym!

Bring clean sneakers, a white shirt and a black shirt.
