Zumba - Winter II 2025

Zumba features Latin inspired music and dance to combine cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility for a total body workout. 

Classes will be Monday's from 6 to 7pm at The Tiffin Middle School exercise room.

Spring Terrarium Workshop - Spring 2025

Join the library and Stacie's Greenhouse for an afternoon of fun and creativity at our Mini-Terrarium Making Workshop! Learn how to design and build your own tiny green world using succulents, moss, and decorative elements. Perfect for all skill levels, this hands-on workshop will guide you through the basics of plant care and terrarium design. Take home your own unique creation and a new appreciation for nature!

PinSeekers Golf Camp - Spring 2025

Tiffin Recreation is partnering with PinSeekers for a spring break co-ed golf camp at PinSeekers in Tiffin .  The camp is for all abilities ages 8 to 14.  Each day there will be instruction; led by PinSeekers staff,  then golfers will head to their bays to practice and play games.  Feel free to drop off your kids or hang out. 

The camp will be from 10am to 11:30am.  The cost is $95. If your kid can make only two of the days, there is a $60 half camp option. Your kid will be able to be in same bay with his friends.  You can bring your own clubs or borrow theirs at no cost.  

Parents that want to hit balls will have to rent their own bays.  Thanks and we hope to see you there!

T-Ball - Spring 2025

PK/K:  Learn the basics of baseball by starting out in T-Ball

Program is Co-ed, kids MUST be going into Kindergarten fall of 2025 or 2026.  Please use your best discretion on if your kid is ready for this.  T-Ball can be very dangerous with bats and balls involved. 

Practices and games will be on the new Tiffin Ball Fields at the Auxiliary Fields, Sunday afternoons. An adult must accompany each child at each session. Half the days will be practices and half games.  All your kid needs is a glove, all other equipment will be provided.  We recommend a used leather small baseball glove. The new ones are just too stiff.   Enrollment of individual levels may close early due to lack of coaches, number of kids, fields, etc.

WE NEED COACHES.  To become a coach sign up as a volunteer when registering.

No one will be turned away due to ability to pay. Please email fhaege@tiffin-iowa.org for scholarship requests or with any other questions. 

Youth Baseball/Softball - Spring 2025

Tiffin Rec teams will be playing in the NLCBS league again this year.  All practices are in Tiffin, most games in Tiffin, some at Penn Meadows Park in North Liberty.  Steps 1 and 2 are T-Ball.  Enrollment of individual levels may close early due to lack of coaches, number of kids, fields, etc.

Grades are grades for FALL of 2025.

Step 3 (Grades 1)- Sunday afternoon practice, Wednesday (poss Fr) night games. Coach Pitch.

Step 4 (Grades 2-3) -  Sunday afternoon practice, Wednesday (poss fr) night games. Transition Pitch.

Step 5 (Junior)  (Grades 4-5) - Monday and Thursday nights; possible Friday nights. Kid Pitch No Walks.

Step 6 (Senior) (Grades 6-7-8) - Monday and Thursday nights; possible Friday nights. Regular Rules.

Adult Pick Up Basketball - Winter 2024

Join us at the CCA Middle School Auxiliary Gym from 6pm to 8pm each Wednesday.

If there is no school (Holiday Break, etc.) there is no basketball.  Park in main lot, use front door. 

Must be 18 and out of high school.  This is free, but please sign up so we have a waiver for you and contact info. Thanks!

30 Plus Basketball - Winter 2024

Come on Down for a 30 plus basketball open gym!

Bring clean sneakers, a white shirt and a black shirt.
